DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Analyze and resolve specific billing edits that require coding based on the chargemaster expertise and that are delaying claims from processing.
  • Identify charging, chargemaster coding, or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership to resolve issues that are identified.
  • Serve as charge master liaison to facilitate clinical department education on appropriate charging of CPT codes and revenue codes

We are in need of an RI Analyst who will be responsible for determining the appropriateness of patient charges assigned CPTs by reviewing the medical record, facility protocol and other applicable documentation. We offer many opportunities for career growth. You need the following to be our top candidate:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Healthcare experience in an acute care hospital or coding experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging or preforming charging validation reviews.
  • RHIT, CCS, CCP,CPC or other recognized AHIMA certified coding credential; other healthcare credential such as LPN, LVN or RT
