Job Description

Assists Logging Manager with the training of the logging department.
Performs daily discrepancy account analyses and coding.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
 Provides introductory and ongoing training and education to staff to ensure that policies and procedures are
followed
 Meets with the Manager regularly to effectively communicate and resolve logging issues, set and prioritize
goals and improve processes
 Assists with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals and maintaining standards
 Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, patient, and customer service policies
 Assist with payroll activities for team members (i.e., time cards, edit sheets)
 Assist manager with development and implementation of project and department action plans
 Work Discrepancy Report or Web tool to determine types of discrepancies and assign appropriate reason codes
 Make all corrections of non-payment related discrepancies
 Forward all other discrepancies to Overpayment or Underpayment Analyst
 Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
 Other duties as assigned

 PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
 Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and
systems
 Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate
properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
EDUCATION
 High school diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE
 At least one year of logging-related experience required
 Prior supervisory experience preferred
