Job Summary
The Trainer is responsible for efficient and effective delivery, and assists in the development of education initiatives that are implemented by Parallon.  This individual operates as a member of a cross functional team, which includes Business Owners, Project Management, IT&S and others as needed.  This individual will work closely with various groups to help implement educational requirements, learning and change strategies that are needed to achieve desired results.  As a highly visible department representative, this individual must consistently demonstrate a strong service commitment by continually striving to meet and exceed customer expectations.


  • Executes established educational strategies for both competency-based and operational-based education initiatives.
  • Participates in and actively supports multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assists in development, revision, and maintenance of content-specific, competency-based, and operational based education programs.
  • Facilitates and assists with training classes and distance learning modules for both soft skills and technical applications.
  • Coordinates logistics associated with education events and departmental meetings.
  • Maintains training administration records.
  • Extensive travel is required, including Corporate, Shared Services Center, and facility site visits.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum associates degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.


  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of training, development and delivery experience required (including course design and training facilitation).
  • Healthcare background preferred.
  • Web-based development experiences a plus.
