Job Summary
The SOX Auditor is responsible for producing and auditing various reports in accordance with company level Sarbanes-Oxley Controls and works closely with Parallon Business Performance Group leaders to provide operational and financial analysis of these reports.
 
Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Performs internal control audits of financial applications and procedures in conjunction with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Collects, reviews, and analyzes data pertaining to information systems functions relative to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Assists in the Sarbanes-Oxley self-assessment programs for key controls
  • Reviews and executes various IT key control tests. The SOX Auditor performs SOX self-assessment testing for all business processes including IT functions and entity level controls including system access
  • Reports results to management so that remediation can be performed and then updates appropriate documentation
  • Ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure

Job Requirements

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Relevant experience may substitute education requirement
  • Minimum three years’ experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare experience
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
