Job Description

Job Summary – The Senior Masterfile Analyst is responsible for ensuring Parallon revenue system dictionaries and master file adherence to operational and financial standards through monitoring efforts identifying opportunities for greater efficiencies through process improvement and systems integration.

Duties (included but not limited to):

• Conducts problem analysis for Parallon revenue cycle system dictionaries
• Monitors master file compliance with operational and financial standards.
• Creates and supports exception-based report generation for dictionary compliance.
• Works interface exception reports for integrated system master files.
• Provides ongoing maintenance and support for master file dictionaries.
• Reviews business, user, functional and non-functional system requirements to ensure master file setup consistency
• Review and reconcile discrepancies on the master file maintenance reports
• Compose detailed specifications and requirements system interfaces (if applicable)
• Understands revenue cycle operations and technologies currently in place.
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
• Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. This includes utilizing proper punctuation, correct spelling and the ability to transcribe accurately. The ability to communicate with staff, Parallon Management, Division and Group Executives

• Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
• PC skills - demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and in other applications as required. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft Desktop environments. Ability to read and comprehend extremely complex technical information. Demonstrate knowledge of relational databases, including SQL queries.
• Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
• Basic skills - demonstrates ability to organize, perform and track multiple tasks accurately in short timeframes, have ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple demands, ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player, adaptability, analytical and problem solving ability and attention to detail and able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information System or other Business‐related field, required.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement

Experience:
• Background and operational experience with healthcare business practices and with healthcare IT revenue cycle systems
• Two years progressive computer information systems experience preferred
• Experience with Parallon revenue cycle systems preferred
