Job Summary : Plan and direct all operational aspects of Parallon's Medicaid Eligibility division.  Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. 

Duties (included but not limited to):

  • Drive operational performance.  Ensure processes, people and analytics are in place to drive production and profitability.  Develop repeatable processes that may be perfected over time.
  • Develop sourcing, selection, hiring and training practices to ensure a quality workforce.  Responsible for the development and growth of employees.
  • Manage employees across multiple client sites spanning the US
  • Determine best practices and systems to integrate multiple acquired companies
  • Effectively manage division P & L.
  • Establish standard methodologies, systems and processes to effectively plan and implement new and current customer initiatives.  Invest in technology to help drive improved performance and processes ensuring efficient and effective ongoing operations and support.
  • Act as central point of contact for operational issues impacting key clients.  Ensure effective communication occurs within Parallon and between Parallon and customers/clients regarding client issues.  Meet with hospital administrators and directors to ensure that the staff is performing at an effective and productive level.
  • Ensure client contracts are properly administered. 
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), by client and report results.  Identify performance trends and risks.  Facilitate activities within Parallon and between Parallon and clients to address and resolve.
  • Working with clients and sales, identify opportunities to cross sell service line.  Serve as subject matter expert on operational issues.  Spearhead new contract implementations working with the Regional director to coordinate the daily operation flow to ensure optimum staff performance.
  • Manage escalated customer situations. Respond promptly to customer needs.  Solicit customer feedback to improve service.  Respond to requests for service and assistance.  This may require extracting, synthesizing, and analyzing a variety of data.
  • Provide staff direction in analyzing and resolving escalated customer and/or technical issues/problems in a timely and effective manner.  May act as an individual contributor or knowledge expert for the more complex or difficult issues/problems.  Exercise judgment and act appropriately within defined regulations, client requirements, policies and procedures for properly handling issues/problems

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. 
  • Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare receivables management industry strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of fifteen years of experience, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role spearheading multi-state Operations.
