Revenue Cycle Intern – Richmond, VA – Summer 2019 Internship (40 hours week/10 weeks - May 2019-August 2019)
The Revenue Cycle Intern position provides individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college/university the opportunity to work on projects that satisfies college/university internship program guidelines and requirements. In addition, the internship teaches entry-level management and technical skills within an SSC. The projects will be incumbent on the Intern’s department assignment within the back office operations.
DUTIES (included but not limited to):
  • Intern Program participants must complete scheduled training.
  • During the program, candidates will assist management/ leadership by completing daily assignments and working on department projects, as needed, to further enhance their management and technical skills in their area.
  • Candidates must participate in and meet the requirements of all applicable college/ university program requirements to remain in the program.
  • Program participants will work in groups to complete a Capstone Project and Presentation for SSC leadership.
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and the “Mission and Value Statement.”
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Current enrollment in an accredited college/university
Currently pursuing Finance, Accounting, Management, Business, or other related degree preferred
One year of experience in healthcare, logistics and/or finance or less
