Credentialing Reporting Analyst

Summary: The Credentialing Reporting Analyst designs, develops and implements critical reports related to credentialed practitioners. He/she will assist the Manager of Credentialing Reporting with developing and maintaining reporting tools necessary to support operations including the development of tools to effectively measure performance and other organizational needs. The Credentialing Reporting Analyst will support the following partners and stakeholders, which include Parallon Executives, Credentialing Processing Center (CPC), Clinical Service Group (CSG) Executives, Medical Staff Professionals (MSPs)as well as Parallon IT&S to develop, deploy, and maintain standard reporting tools. The scope of this will include acute care hospitals, ASC, UCCs, and payor delegated credentialing.


Duties:

  • Designs, develops and implements ad hoc and standard reports and/or operational reporting applications surrounding the practitioners credentialing processes.
  • Develops and executes reports using appropriate toolset and data mining tools (Cactus, Business Objects, Crystal, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Office, and Microstrategy Products) to assist customers with data requests.
  • Plays a critical role in our future growth opportunities by ensuring reports are accurate and timely and meet the Stakeholders needs.
  • Develops reports that outline key data around the practitioners credentialing process for HCA, Parallon and other stakeholders.
  • Integrates understanding of Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) operations and Cactus data into the development and maintenance, of reports.
  • Coordinates development of the more complex and key reports with Senior Analyst.
  • Provides complex ad hoc operational reports and analyses as requested by management teams.
  • Escalates issues and concerns to the Manager of Credentialing Reporting and the Director of Operations, Credentialing Shared Services.
  • Assists Manager with ongoing reporting standardization efforts
  • Requires occasional travel for team work sessions, training and educational purposes



Job Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


 
Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Credentialing/CPC experience preferred.
  • HCA-based system experience preferred.
  • SQL Development Preferred.
