Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with all of the HCA hospitals in the North Texas market, branded as Medical City as well as Del Sol and Las Palmas in El Paso. 
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Senior Leadership on strategies related to patient experience and staffing efficiency. 
  • Observe, coach and train key Patient Access staff to ensure positive patient experience and that registration protocol is followed.
  • Serve as  key resource in the deployment of new Parallon strategies, processes and technology in the area of Patient Access.
  • Provide clear leadership to staff of monthly metric goals and the impact to the organization. 
  • Identify trends in performance and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assume a lead role for innovation and knowledge sharing among peer group.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Technical Expertise – Some understanding of healthcare including knowledge of healthcare terms and accounts receivable processes
  • Strategic Analysis - Analytical Review skills and ability to make decisions based on analysis
  • Leadership - guides individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services
  • Tactical execution - oversees the development, deployment and direction of complex programs and processes
  • Financial management - applies tools and processes to successfully manage to budget
  • Project Management - assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care. This may be waived if candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.

  • Minimum three years’ experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience. Relevant education may substitute experience requirement.
