As a Patient Experience Concierge, you will accept the following important responsibilities:
  • Promote a positive patient experience by welcoming patients and family members in a professional manner
  • Answer patient and visitor questions
  • Contact the nursing staff for emergency medical needs
  • Oversee the daily activities of the front desk and lobby areas, including tidiness of the area
  • Conduct lobby rounding to ensure patients are made aware of wait time expectations
  • Encourage and assist with enrollment into the Patient Portal
  • Provide regular patient flow updates to Patient Access Leadership
  • Manage negative patient experiences and assist in the resolution of patient concerns
  • Explain policies regarding services, charges, insurance billing, and payment of account

Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least one year of previous customer service experience is required.
  • Must be comfortable using and assisting patients in using tablet.
  • The ability to stand on your feet for the majority of your shift.
