As a Team Lead, you would be the subject matter expert for your team, so while still completing patient access duties, you would also be the person to whom team members come to ask questions and guidance.  You could be assisting new hires with additional training as they transition from the training room to the department.  You would also be overseeing the daily activities of the registration area to ensure that department standards are met, helping staff the department according to department needs, and assisting your supervisor with scheduling.

  • Basic Skills – able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately

Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience
  • At least one year of experience in a related field required
