Reports directly to assigned Area Director and/or Regional Director but will have areas of responsibility in all regions throughout Medicaid Eligibility and Advocacy service line.  Will be responsible for quality case review and guidance of Parallon’s established  minimum standard protocol.  Travel to multiple facilities for special projects and meetings as needed.  Additional duties will include program research, education and training,  and special project implementation.  Provide auditing and analytical support to ensure quality and assist in improving various processes within the Medicaid Eligibility service line

  • Ensuring minimum standard protocol is being following by all areas
  • Quality review and auditing of SSI/Disability cases
  • SSA program research and development
  • Education and training of MSP requirements, program changes and continuing education
  • Implementation of new or special projects
  • Ongoing process improvement
  • Perform quality assurance activities to ensure that work efforts satisfactorily meet minimum standard protocol
  • Perform analytical assessments of data and assist the team in using the data for decision-making purposes
  • Responsible for reviewing and reporting results
  • Work independently with various departments to ensure revenue is maximized
  • Maintain reports that are indicative of process improvement within departments while promoting a positive presence in improving these processes
  • Make recommendations based on assessments that improve revenue, production and quality
  • Ability to multi-task to ensure day-to-day work is complete as well as assigned projects timely
  • Provide documented results and process improvement to Director for departments not meeting company/client standards
  • Perform special projects or other activities as assigned.  Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers and executives, as well as external clients and other external business contacts
  • Adheres to and supports organizational IT&S standards, policies, and procedures
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  •  Highly proficient in all aspects of disability programs including but not limited to medical and financial requirements.  Knowledge of all Federal and State Programs across entire service line (states) to ensure successful conversion of accounts.  Extensive knowledge level and understanding of SSI/Disability program requirements
  • Ability to resolve problems and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Good communication skills with the ability to correspond effectively with a vast group from entry level employees to executive leadership
  • Highly efficient in all Microsoft include PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to present data to large groups
  • Ability to positively motivate team members when gaps are identified
  • Demonstrated analytical, communication and problem solving skills and the ability to act/decide accordingly
  • Ability to collect, create and research complex or diverse information 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Independently manage, plan, organize and exercise sound judgement
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
