Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will develop and maintain a denial dashboard for tracking of legal statuses for Dispute Resolution.  He/she will also assist with the reconciliation of the denial escalation inventory and report discrepancies to legal.  The Financial Analyst will assists Payer Analysis Director with developing and maintaining reporting tools necessary to support Parallon operations, including the development of tools to effectively report Denial Escalation trends and inventory.  The Financial Analyst will work closely with the VP, Net Revenue Analytics and Dispute Resolution and Payer Analysis Director to help draft effective responses to senior leadership inquiries related to the denial escalation inventory trends and characteristics.

  • Plays a role in the data standardization process and helps develop, maintain, and automate tools and systems to support department's monitoring and follow-up activities.
  • Reconciles and reports all discrepancy statuses to legal.
  • Assists with the monitoring and monthly reporting of denial escalation inventory.
  • Builds a strong understanding of SSC and Revenue Cycle operations and technologies as well as HCA enterprise technologies.
  • Plays a role in the development of month-end and ad hoc reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail in order to ensure the accuracy of the data being reported.
  • Works quickly and efficiently in order to meet the needs of the customer particularly when faced with tight turnaround times.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience.
  • Revenue Cycle/Shared Service Center experience preferred.
  • HCA-based system experience preferred.
