Job Summary – The Director of Recruitment will provide oversight for high-volume recruitment across multiple lines of business and multiple states.   This position will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters and is responsible for the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to meet business objectives.

Duties (included but not limited to):

  • Oversees the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels
  • Responsible for developing recruitment staff by ensuring appropriate training is delivered so the team is fully knowledgeable and abreast on all processes, policies and recruiting/sourcing methods; and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations
  • Provides reporting and measurements to Senior Leadership team as well as expertise, market information on employment issues and trends, and meets with leaders to develop specific recruiting plans
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with community, educational, agency and media contacts as resources to generate qualified applicants
  • Oversees implementation and optimization of job/career fairs to meet recruitment needs and brand marketing strategies
  • Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms
  • Provides counsel to hiring leaders.  May develop and conduct training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.   Master’s Degree preferred.  Minimum three years of experience in recruitment is required; high volume recruitment preferred.  5 years of leadership experience in Recruiting disciplines.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SPHR –CP) preferred.
