Serves as the subject matter expert for specialized services within the Medicaid Eligibility service line.  Works with operations and other stakeholders to develop processes, review results and communicate change to successfully implement new services.  Establishes goals and performance expectations.  Works with RCPS Sr. leaders to develop or improve new services.  Serves as the single point of contact for new service deployment and communication to those impacted.      


  • Coordinate and Manage implementation of new initiatives
  • Work with Operations to develop processes and identify efficiencies in new service initiatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise for any specialized services
  • Ensure the development of standardized training materials hots and usage statements that are user friendly
  • Communicate to the Medicaid Eligibility division regarding system Hardware and Software changes.
  • Collaborate with other members of IT&S, Operations and Education on projects and new operations
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with new or existing initiatives to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Provide System conversion compliance with operational and client requirements
  • Ensure operational expectations are communicated with leadership
  • Responsible for developing regular communication and presentations to stakeholders
  • Travel will include up to 15%
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

  • Technical Expertise –Understanding of healthcare including knowledge of healthcare terms and accounts receivable processes
  • Strategic Analysis - Analytical Review skills and ability to make decisions based on analysis
  • Leadership - guides individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services
  • Tactical execution - oversees the development, deployment and direction of specialized services and projects
  • Financial management - applies tools and processes to successfully manage to budget
  • Project Management – Oversees and assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately
  • Organization - proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources
  • Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.  This includes utilizing proper punctuation, correct spelling and the ability to transcribe accurately. The ability to communicate with staff, Parallon Management, Division and Group Executives
  • Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Relevant experience may substitute education preference with RCPS Executive approval.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable Management; Medicaid Eligibility experience preferred.
  • Relevant education may substitute experience requirement with RCPS Executive approval.
