Job Description

Sort, identify, date stamp, and scan all incoming correspondence to appropriate patient account.
Update disposition of accounts in FACS when necessary
Answer phone calls and assist callers in obtaining information in response to IVR contacts
Respond promptly to all correspondence received from Attorney’s seeking documentation on claims
Update patient addresses in FACS from NCOA Link report
Provide back-up assistance at the front desk to cover for customer service representatives when necessary
Process outgoing mail for the Operations Teams by gathering and mailing the outgoing letters and packages.
Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers and executives, as well as external clients and other external business contacts.
All other job duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge:  Familiarity with medical billing procedures.
Experience:  One year experience in administrative office work and/or work in a hospital setting. Proficiency in using computerized mailing equipment. 
Skills: General computer and typing skills, good communication skills.  Demonstrated analytical skills.  Demonstrated problem solving and a strong attention to detail.  Capable of meeting deadlines for multiple tasks simultaneously.
