JOB SUMMARY

The Project Services and Solutions Consulting Process Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance and continued improvement of operations for the PSS organization. Additional responsibilities include automation of processes and development of quality and audit systems to ensure compliance with the established PSS standards. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of the tools (MS Project/Project Server, InfoPath, SharePoint, etc.) as well a deep understanding of Project, Program and Portfolio Management.

The scope of work involves all processes for Project and Program management including discovery, initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Furthermore, development and automation of processes for Portfolio Management (such as Portfolio status reporting including issues and risks, prioritization, capacity planning, financial reporting, etc.) are also the responsibility of the Consulting Process Analyst.

The position requires advanced leadership, facilitation, critical analysis, problem solving and change management skills to influence and guide cross-functional processes (including our customers, internal teams, IT&S PMO, and PMO Council). She/he must demonstrate a strong technical propensity and commitment to champion the use of technical and methodology-oriented tools and processes by others in the organization.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide guidance and best practices to portfolio directors and/or business sponsors to organize and structure program and portfolio work in PerView
•Serve as a primary resource and subject matter expert within PSS for PM technical tools support, PerView administration and training
•Develop requirements and solutions for PPM systems enhancements through engagement with PMO stakeholders and IT&S PMCOE
•Provide input into the development of new standards, assess impact of changes to existing processes, lead the implementation of new standards/tools as directed, and conduct audits to measure compliance and effectiveness of the tools
•Work with project managers to troubleshoot issues with projects, programs and portfolios within the PPM system and Microsoft Project
•Translate understanding of the PPM system and tools into concise and accurate instructions, provide coaching and training to PSS staff
• Support business intelligence report development initiatives, including but not limited to, ad hoc reporting requests
•Partner with other HCA departments and subsidiaries to ensure consistent best practices and continuity between operations
•Act as a primary resource for the maintenance, updates and enhancements of the Project Control Manual, standards, methodology, tools and templates
•Identify and document requirements for PPM tool training, reporting, technical functions, and other supported PMO assets
•Provide PerView on-boarding and training for new hires/groups
•Employ critical thinking to objectively assess effectiveness of processes/tools and provide recommendations on improvements (areas include but not limited to financial, resourcing, risks, intake/governance)
•Proactively communicate with leadership, stakeholders and customers on system upgrades/releases; documents processes and tools; translate knowledge into instructional and training material for both
•Collaborate with IT&S, Parallon, external vendors, and remote client teams such that cooperative work efforts are fostered to meet the needs of the customer and organization
•Use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans
•Ensure information is accurate and complete; prepare resources to effectively manage the project controls of complex processes
•Partner with CSG Finance team and PSS Leaders to develop automated processes for financial performance tracking and reporting at project, program and portfolio levels
•Perform other duties as assigned to support the Project Services and Solutions organization.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE
Must have 7-9 years of relevant project management experience

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree and PMP preferred
