The Compliance Manager is responsible for assisting the Compliance Director in managing all compliance related activities and initiatives within the Shared Services Center (SSC).

Duties (included but not limited to):
Under the direction of the Compliance Director:
• Assists the Compliance Director with completion of periodic reviews, audits and other requirements outlined in the ECO Functional Standards.
• Performs research and analysis on Corporate and federal payer rules, regulations and transmittals and communicates requirements to operational areas. 
• Participates along with the Compliance Director in Compliance Operations Meetings and assists with the tracking and resolution of compliance issues that affect operations. 
• Collaborates with operational department managers to resolve compliance or regulatory concerns. 
• Manages the daily operations of the Privacy Program including investigation and timely reporting of privacy issues.  
• Reviews internal communications including those from Corporate Parallon and HCA, assesses operational impact and provides education to operational leadership when necessary.  
• Assists facilities with audit and re-bill projects related to potential governmental overpayment issues.  
• Assists with the processing of Risk Management/Quality of Care incidents in accordance with facility protocols, if requested. 
• Coordinates the investigation of potential Identity Theft Red Flags cases. 
• Provides superb customer service to all clients. 
• Assists with internal and external audits as needed. This can include the provision of documentation requested by the auditors. 
• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Basic skills - demonstrates ability to organize, perform and track multiple tasks accurately in short time frames, have ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple demands, ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player, adaptability, analytical and problem solving ability and attention to detail and able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately. 

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements. 

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum three years’ experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
