Job Summary – The Corporate Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster Corporate Compliance team by conducting analytics on chargemaster standardization for acquisition hospitals. This individual will work collaboratively with the Compliance teams and HIS teams in order to ensure timely updates to CDM mapping are completed and accurate. This individual will support the acquisitions initiatives with other analytics support as needed. In addition this person will support the analysis of charge capture for both new and existing hospitals. This person may be called upon to help develop standard reporting that represents ongoing compliance initiatives.
 
Duties:

  • Provide analytics on chargemaster or revenue capture for new or existing facilities.
  • Work with HIS and other functional areas to help support acquisition initiatives through standardization of monitoring reporting.
  • Monitor HCA Chargemaster using analytics tools to help identify opportunities for standardization or noncompliance.
  • Stays abreast of current regulations and industry charging and billing guidelines.
  • Assist with the standardization process for SSCs and facilities.
  • Coordinate with Corporate directors/managers to identify trends and address issues related to charge capture or chargemaster standardization.
  • Assists, as needed, with data entry, billing/audit questions, facility inquiries, in-service education, database maintenance, statistical analysis and processing of reviews as determined by the Director Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster of Compliance.
  • Support corporate oversight off maintenance of facility chargemasters and related processes under the guidance of the Director.
  • Review results of periodic audits and take appropriate action as indicated by the Director.



Job Requirements

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required


EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of three years related work experience required.
  • Revenue Integrity or Chargemaster experience preferred.
  • HCPCS/CPT coding experience preferred.
  • Experience with HCA Patient Accounting, Artiva/ Collections, Meditech, and Smart software is a plus.
  • Must have experience using analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, Visual Insight or other relevant analytics tools. 


 
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE -
  • Certified coding credentials preferred
