Job Description

The AVP is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of operations and activities centered on optimizing RCPS’ payment compliance performance as well as operational performance across lines of business and for each line of business.  Working with leadership in each RCPS line of business, the AVP will drive the most effective utilization of software solutions throughout the RCPS organization in conjunction with process re-design and process optimization.  In addition, as required, the AVP will oversee certain operational and divisional special projects.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for Payment Compliance for RCPS clients
  • Serve as the business owner for RCPS Payment Compliance Tools
  • Oversee Payment Compliance projects for RCPS Clients
  • Collaborate with leadership in each RCPS line of business to ensure the most effective utilization of software solutions to drive operational excellence
  • Assist in the identification of key performance indicators and benchmarking


Job Requirements

  • Analytical, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to collect, create and research complex or diverse information
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a variety of key skills including: relationship management, project management, staffing and execution
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Deep functional experience in healthcare revenue cycle with emphasis on payment compliance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred or a combination of relevant work experience and training including familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Minimum of 8 years accounting / auditing / hospital or physician revenue cycle multi-facility or Centralized Business Office Setting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory / leadership experience
