  • Manages training staff whom are responsible for creating, designing, developing and delivering training.
  • Collaborates with operational owners and other leaders to identify new and ongoing training needs.
  • Conducts reviews for new hire curriculum and end of course evaluations to ensure benchmarks are met and/or exceeded.
  • Conducts needs analysis, job task analysis and consults with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.
  • Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company processes, business systems, or changes in procedures, regulations or services.
  • Selects appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and online learning.
  • Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Trains and provides opportunities for learning for assigned instructors in effective techniques for training, such as new employees' orientation, ADDIE, on-the-job training, virtual environments and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Organization - proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources.
  • WebEx Tools – demonstrates intermediate to expert level in virtual tools such as WebEx meetings, WebEx teams, WebEx training Center.
  • Adobe products– Basic level understanding of Adobe products such as Captivate preferred.
  • Leadership - guides individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services.
  • Tactical execution - oversees the development, deployment and direction of complex programs and processes.
  • Project Management - assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately.
  • Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
  • Learning Management Systems – familiarity with Healthstream or similar platforms.


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Healthcare Revenue Management experience and distance learning preferred.
