As the Patient Day Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing patient day balancing for hospitals within the Patient Account Services group.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Reconciles Nursing Midnight floor census
  • Compares the registration alphabetic census report with the PA Alphabetic report
  • Reviews the Daily Revenue Analysis report to ensure that all patients have been assigned appropriate rooms
  • Maintains all report for auditing purposes
  • Works closely with IS to ensure accurate service dates have crossed to PA
  • Maintains Patient Day Worksheet on a daily basis


Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Operational knowledge of PC’s required in both software and hardware. Must be familiar with Excel, Word, and Windows.
  • Continuous work with all departments.
  • Work closely with senior management and entry-level employees.
  • Must be customer service oriented with excellent communication and people skills.

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent with continuing education in data processing related fields.

  • Minimum two years progressive data processing experience
